About This Character[]
Maria is a character in the Ask the Sonic Heroes series. She is Dr. Eggman's cousin who is not on the side of evil and she is Shadow's friend. 50 years before the events of Sonic Adventure 2, The Space Colony ARK was attacked by G.U.N. soldiers. Maria helped Shadow escape, but she was shot by a soldier and died wanting Shadow to become friends with humans. At some point, she was somehow revived and reincarnated as a hedgehog.
